QR Code Link to This Post My girlfriend and I have a small bedroom in a trailer that we'd like to share for $250/month (utilities included) with a non-smoker. Some have contacted me about shorter-term stays, so I will also rent the room for $65/week or $10/day as long as the money is paid up front. The room is yours to do as you like (as long as it's not damaging), and the rest of the space is mine to organize as I like which I'll share with any renters (except my room, of course). It's an old trailer (80's model), but clean and cozy. The location is peaceful, 20 min. from Durham, 35 min. from Duke, and 5-10 min. away (easily bike-able) from 2 different, scenic lakes (Lake Michie; Holt Reservoir). No washer or dryer, though I'm exploring old-fashioned ways of accomplishing this. No wifi, but you're welcome to get it in your name if desired (I use the library). Though the trailer has great AC, heat, electricity, plumbing, etc, I'm passionate about low-impact living, so you'd need to be excited about very simple living here as well. This means turning off lights when you leave a room, using fans or being outside in the shade instead of using AC (except for the HOTTEST days), and generally being very mindful about water, electricity, and other resources. Know the difference between use and waste. I occasionally have ants, wasps, spiders, even a bat who visits. We co-exist peacefully. If you feel the need to kill critters like this, this is not the space for you.
